Thank you for using our online application form.  Our goal is to make the application process easy and convenient.  The information you provide will be used to determine your qualifications for residency at Sun Bay Apartments of Tampa.  All adults (18 years or older) that will live in the apartment must be listed on the application form.  If more than two adults will live in the unit, a second application form listing the third and fourth occupants must be submitted.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A. INCOME:  Monthly combined gross verifiable income for all occupants must equal or exceed 3 times the monthly rent.  At our discretion, we may require proof of income in the form of recent pay stubs, written or phone verification of income sources, and/or copies of past tax returns.

B. RENTAL HISTORY:  Applicants must have satisfactory rental history in order to be approved.  Satisfactory rental history is defined as no more than 2 late payments, no more than 2 returned checks, adequate notice prior to vacating unit, and no outstanding financial obligations to any past landlord.  Previous landlords must state that they would be willing to re-rent to the applicant.  Applicant will be denied for any prior evictions.  If applicant presently lives in a house which they own, proof of ownership is required.

C. CREDIT HISTORY:  A satisfactory credit score is required with an account history that is at least 75% positive.  No more than one account may be in collections and the amount owed may not exceed $1,000.00.  Medical collections and student loans will be disregarded.  In the event of a previous bankruptcy filing, the bankruptcy must have been discharged 2 or more years ago.

D. CRIMINAL HISTORY:  All occupants over 18 will be checked for criminal history.  The history must reflect no felony convictions or deferred adjudication for a felony.

E. OCCUPANCY GUIDELINES:  No more than 2 occupants per bedroom are allowed regardless of age.
